Esteban was one of our 2022 Therapy Assistance Grant Recipients. His mother wanted to share a bit of his story:

Hello our forever friend. My name is Claudia. Nice to have you on our path of life. My son, Esteban, and I are extremely blessed to be a part of the kindness of your heart. We want to tell you that the help that you have given us we can never repay you. It has changed our lives in so many ways that has given us so much hope in knowing that Esteban is getting the help that will help him meet his full potential. I would like to share some of the progress he had with ABA therapy. When he was attending regular school, teachers would ask me every time he was evaluated what our goal was for Esteban. My answer never changed. My biggest dream was for him to be able to say his name. 3 years passed and nothing. 3 Years passed and nothing. After he started therapy it took 6 weeks and finally we were able to hear him say so loud and clear, ‘ESTEBAN.’ I cried so much of joy and happiness.

Now he can say so many words. He has so much to share with us. Learning how to take turns, how to get dressed and so many more things. Esteban has always had a great personality and spirit and now he has words to match his excitement and happiness. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you so much for helping us and giving us hope. You have forever put a smile on our faces and in our hearts.
